Job Interview

Halo semuanya! Apa kabar? Baik-baik saja kan? Di sini saya akan menjelaskan mengenai job interview. Apakah kalian tahu tentang job interview? Apa kalian masih bingung tentang job interview? Simak penjelasan saya.

Langkah pertama, kita harus memahami tentang job interview.

1. Understanding

Job interview is a conversation that takes place between a potential employer and a job applicant. During the job interview, the employer has the opportunity to assess the applicant’s qualifications, appearance and general fitness for the job opening. The function of job interview are as follows:

1.    The interview obtains facts, opinions, or attitudes from the candidate or interviewer.

2.    The interviewer provides facts, opinions, or attitudes to the interviewee.

3.    The employment interview is an opportunity to hire an interviewer. Whereas it is an opportunity to get a suitable job for an interviewee.

4.    In the case of a persuasive interview, the interviewer tries to persuade the interviewer to shape up attitude or behavior.

5.   The performance appraisal interview gives the employee feedback regarding his performance and helps to encourage and reward employees.

2. Question and Answer (Content)

Review frequently asked interview questions and sample answers based on your experience, skills, and interests. Remember, it’s less about giving the right answer and more about proving you’re the best person for the job.

1. Tell Me About Yourself.

This is one of the first questions you are likely to be asked. Be prepared to talk about yourself, and why you're an ideal candidate for the position. The interviewer wants to know why you're an excellent fit for the job.

Try to answer questions about yourself without giving too much, or too little, personal information. You can start by sharing some of your personal interests and experiences that don't relate directly to work, such as a favorite hobby or a brief account of where you grew up, your education, and what motivates you.

2. Why Are You the Best Person for the Job?

Are you the best candidate for the job? The hiring manager wants to know whether you have all the required qualifications. Be prepared to explain why you're the applicant who should be hired.

Make your response a confident, concise, focused sales pitch that explains what you have to offer and why you should get the job. This is a good time to review the qualifications and the requirements in the job listing, so you can craft a response that aligns with what the interviewer is looking for.

3. Why Do You Want This Job?

Why are you a good fit for the position? What would you accomplish if you were hired? This interview question gives you an opportunity to show the interviewer what you know about the job and the company, so take time beforehand to thoroughly research the company, its products, services, culture, and mission.

Be specific about what makes you a good fit for this role, and mention aspects of the company and position that appeal to you most.

4. What Is Your Greatest Strength?

This is one of the most common questions employers ask to determine your suitability for the job. When you are asked about your greatest strengths, it is important to discuss the qualities that make you qualified for this particular position and that will set you apart from other applicants.

When answering this question, remember to "show" rather than "tell". For example, instead of saying that you are a good problem solver, tell a story that demonstrates it, based on anecdotes from your professional experience.

5. What Are Your Salary Expectations?

What salary are you looking for? Financial questions are often difficult to answer. You don't want to sell yourself short or turn down a job offer. In some places, employers are prohibited by law from asking you about your salary history, but they can ask you how much you expect to be paid.

Do your research before the meeting so you're prepared to call a salary (or salary) if you're asked. There are many free online salary calculators that can give you a reasonable range based on your job title, employer, experience, skills and location.
